After 25 plus years of visiting the Door of Faith Orphanage in La Mision, Baja and a dozen trips to India beginning in 2004, it became clear these places and the “need” had developed into Passions.  I felt the desire to focus on what God had shown me and rely on His continued revealing on what He wants Grace Project to do.  At first it was an overwhelming need to “fix everything”.  But it became clear that I should “do what I can, with what I have, where I’m at.”  So began the mission of showing the Love of Jesus to the poor and marginalized in these regions of the World.

Door of Faith Orphanage (DOFO.org) is located in La Mision, Baja and located about 35 miles below the San Diego Border crossing.  DOFO acts as a centralized resource for the residents in this small seaside town.  Most are engaged in agriculture and raising/selling of farm animals.  The average daily wage is $10.  One of the coordinated outreach efforts by DOFO is to identify families in need of permanent weatherproof housing and coordinate the building and resources to accomplish same.  I have been Blessed to have been involved, at various levels, in the building of 11 homes.  I currently am a member of the DOFO Board and have a deep appreciation and awareness of how sincere their efforts are and how they manage the resources entrusted to them.

Deepam Ministry in Hydrabad India is directed by a friend of 15 years. (name intentionally omitted for safety reasons).  I first met this young man as he Hosted our visiting teams.  He has a Passion to bring the Gospel to the lost under extreme conditions of persecution to include bodily harm.  It is thru Deepam Ministry that Grace Project funds the work being done on the ground.  This includes the establishing of Churches and the resultant need within the villages represented.  I have sent funds to India, on numerous occasions, with no issues whatsoever.  I receive detailed receipts from Deepam Ministries representing each expenditure.  I am willing to share my friends name with you and answer any questions you may have if you reach out to me.
